It's a spring thing

It was early Thursday morning. A flurry of activity in the corral caught my attention.
I did a double-take when I realized it was not Alan and George chasing each other – it was Lucy and George!
I abandoned my coffee and grabbed my camera.

George seemed as surprised as I was that Lucy wanted to play.

Me: Lucy, what exactly are you trying to say?

Somebody needs to draw a chart of donkey expressions.

When Lucy started whispering sweet nothings into George's ear, I finally put two and two together.

Alan: I hope you're not going to let her come between us.

George: Hell, no.

Lucy: *sigh* What's a girl gotta do to get a date around here?

You got it Taryn....when Lucy was here with my two minis...it was quite interested to say the least. Just love your lower lip hanging. I wonder why George and not Alan, but it could be JUST a manner of time before he gets hit on, too. TIS the SEASON Hugs

It's George's loss. But maybe he's looking for someone with those fascinating black stripes like his. I've noticed many of the burros pictured on your site have them. Are they an indication of anything? Is that common to a certain strain of burros, for example?
