Harassing Hank

It was Sunday morning around 8:30. I was hangin' with the herd,
waiting for the temperature to warm up some before Lucy and I went for a ride.
Hank decided it was as good a time as any to drop down for a nap.

George: What's his problem? Nap time doesn't start until 10.

Alan: We'd better go remind him.

George: Get up, lazy bones. Mom's taking pictures
and she doesn't want a horse playing dead in the background.

Alan: Maybe he didn't hear you. Let's tickle him.

George: Bad idea.

I'll admit to being a little disappointed that George and Alan gave up so quickly.
I thought for sure Hank would rise up in anger
and I'd end up with enough pictures to last all week.

Then George surprised me and went back for more.

And so did Alan.

Alan: The old guy seems pretty tired this morning.
George: Yeah, 'cause his belly's full from eating more than his share of breakfast.
Alan: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Come back tomorrow for the next episode of "Harassing Hank."

  1. I guess those two don't know when to leave well enough alone! I'm anxious to see what happens tomorrow.

It looks like Lucy was more interested in what mom was doing perched up on the pipe fence than in harassing Hank. I think that's her rump I see in the first picture. She's a smart girl. Messing with Hank's nap may not be the thing to do.

  6. It does seem as though the boys are often in cahoots with one another. Planning naughtiness around every corner.

  8. Sometimes they just don't know when to leave well enough alone do they. I'll bet Hank isn't going to lie still for this harassment much longer...

  9. Of course George went back for more! That's what younger brothers do! (Older ones too, come to think of it...)

  10. George and Alan are just two of the cutest little mischief makers! Can't wait for next episode. Your blog is my morning reader! I just can't start the day out without a bit of the 7MSN happenings! THANK YOU!

  11. They are so funny! I was surprised they would even think of bugging Hank, but I guess nothing is beyond their mischievousness. And Hank was just getting comfy, too. I'm looking forward to tomorrow even more than usual!
