When Saturday's temperature hit triple digits, Wynonna took matters into her own hands,
tipping over her water bowl to make herself a refreshing puddle.

The rejuvenating and restorative properties of a mud facial are not lost on the porcine process.
She dove in snout first.

She was counting on the mud to smooth her wrinkles and tighten her skin as it dried.
Awwww....I miss Deets, too. But Wynonna's face is precious!
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable as usual. I miss Deets too.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. i popped over from Kathy Goes A Ramblin's sidebar and just had to laugh!!!! what a gorgeous beauty-product model you have there!!!
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh out loud :)
ReplyDeleteUh-Oh and I really miss Deets too.
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...
ReplyDeleteI miss Deets too!
What happened to Deets?? :(
ReplyDeleteI love your site, visiting often, and this is my first comment to you...lived in AZ for most of my life and traveled around NM, loved the sheer openness. You live a kind of dream I've had...solitude with beloved critters. Your photo stories always make me smile...Lucy is a Queen!
ReplyDeleteBut somewhere along the way, I lost track of dear Deets and I realize that something happened. If you wrote a post about it, please let me know which one. If you're OK letting me know by writing, then please do. my email is hilltucson@aol.com or leave a message on my blog.
Take care and Happy Trails!
Never works for me either....
ReplyDeleteDi
Aw! Looks like a great spa day. Love the snout <3
ReplyDeleteFor all those who are still wondering what happened to Deets, I've summed it up on the F.A.Q. page.
ReplyDeleteWynonna is the best :) I do love that piglet!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize Deets was gone either. I'm so sorry. It's so hard when that happens, but it seems to happen a lot where there are coyotes. We've lost a bunch over the years and I haven't gotten any more either :(
Looking at the pictures of Deets and Wynonna, it seems all your family lives in harmony. To good to be true????
ReplyDeleteMade me laugh . . . Thanks to you and Wynonna.
ReplyDeleteWynonna is a charmer! Gotta love a girl with smarts. :)
ReplyDeleteI miss Deets too. :(
Boy, Wynonna wouldn't let *me* get that close when I visited, much less take my morning nap next to her. That Deets was one special and cool cat. I love thinking that my George has a bit of Deet's incredible spirit.
ReplyDeleteWe will never forget Deets and we will never stop missing him.
