Me: Well, hello there, Miss Lucy. Nice of you to join us.
Me: Don't get your ear all out of joint. There's enough love to go around. Come on up here.
Lucy: I can't. Alan's butt is in the way.
Alan: Back off, sister! I was here first.
Lucy: You don't have to be so rude. A polite "please wait a minute" would suffice.
Alan: You already spend more time with her than we do...gallivanting who knows where and chasing cows and stuff.
Alan: She was my mom first, you know. Now just wait your turn.
Children!
ReplyDeleteI like Headless George, throughout...
ReplyDeleteIt's tough to have to share the love. Alan has a point, you were his first. Especially when it comes to handing out lovies.
ReplyDelete(We all know there's plenty to go around!)
omg the no ear look is not a good look at all.
ReplyDeleteThey act just like my third graders! Memememememe!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one with his nostrils flared. He isn't going to give her an inch this time.
ReplyDeleteWell, Alan is right you know... he was in your life first. Poor guy feeling a bit neglected now is he? sniffety sniff.
ReplyDeleteDi
sibling rivalry eh!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha.....that made me smile!
ReplyDeleteJust like siblings. Trying to walk through each other as if no one was in the way.
ReplyDeleteThat is the problem when you only have two hands to distribute scritches at any given time.
Alan's lucky that Lucy didn't chomp his butt! She's pretty tolerant!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Alan needs a time out and then a good old fashioned "talking to". :)
ReplyDeleteMy dogs are the same way. Your captioning was great. Would it ever be possible for you to ride Lucy and have George and Alan accompany you?
ReplyDeleteI love how you tell a story with your photos.
ReplyDeleteNow you know how lady gaga feels.
ReplyDeleteOkay, maybe not.
Kind of nice to see Alan stand up for himself though. . .
Lol!
ReplyDeleteAlways love these dynamics...! LOL Hey, will you be going on old-fashioned lengthy trail rides with the three of them? I can just envision you riding Lucy and the boys trailing along behind with light packs of supplies... :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised I haven't heard, "Three's a crowd" from the longears!
