Great shots, Carson. I loved the horses in the royal parade today. They were spectacular. I thought one got away on his own without a rider or was I seeing things? It was a quick zoom with a lens then gone. In any case the Queen still rides. What a woman! She looks great for 85 as well. Best always, Sandra
Love the shot with Hanks mane. Hes such a sweet boy. Do the donkeys shed? Do you groom them? Spring was always a furry mess around the barn in MN. Lots of winter coat to fly in the breeze.
I loved all the British horses also! A black horse did throw its rider and was alone near the couple's carriage briefly. ABC, I think, showed a shot of the rider on the ground near the edge of the crowd. He was okay. Their quick gait amazes me since I ride on paved streets occasionally. Riding along large crowds of people is also frightening.
Neat pictures, and I really got a kick out of the reaction of mom laying on the ground!
ReplyDeletelooks like a great way to spend a thursday night to me!! (or any night eh)
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteVery artistic! It was so nice without the wind last night, wasn't it?
ReplyDeleteWhat simple pleasures!

ReplyDeleteFunny, my Thursday night looked oddly similar!

Love the third and next to last pics, especially George's muzzle & bright eye against the sky. That's a classic!
ReplyDelete#7 made me wrinkle my nose and laugh because my horse's best friend was a donkey and it reminded me of 'Boyo Kisses' XD
ReplyDeleteThat's my kind of evening! Hangin out in the pasture with the critters. Love the angle of your shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Carson.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, this is the perfect way to spend every evening! Beautiful lighting and pics. The close-up shots of George make my heart go pitter-pat.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo is my favorite--and that blue sky--can it really be so blue?!
ReplyDeleteSandra, my brother and I saw that horse too! The news never said anything about it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so peaceful. I do envy your happy place - but I'm grateful that you share it with us!
