There's nothing like a clear blue sky to tempt Smooch and I to go joy riding in the ranch convertible. I strap her into her seat belt and off we go.
I'm sure she would prefer to ride in the back unharnassed, like any other self-respecting ranch dog, but the magnetic forces of the bovines and jackrabbits are too powerful to keep her in check.
She longs for the day when I'll hand over the keys and she can go cruisin' all by herself.
were are you cool shades smooch ? :p
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pal she is!
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
I love that she has her own seatbelt! She looks like she's trying to figure out if she can take it for a test drive all by herself! :)
ReplyDeleteAh, look at Smooch being all lady-like by crossing her paws so nicely on the seat!
ReplyDeleteLove that deep blue sky--I bet you can see forever out there right now!
She's just too cute. I love how her front paws are crossed so daintily. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I love your blog and I read it EVERY morning. Your photos are absolutely beautiful. Smooch is adorable and a real character. Thanks for the daily entertainment. Best wishes from Northern California, Nancy
ReplyDeleteSpeedy Smooch, she enjoys the ride an I enjoy the photos. So nice!
ReplyDeleteHaHa, that is too cute. BTW, I love reading your blog. I catch it everyday. I live vicariously through you and all your furry kids.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he still wants to go in the last shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful and full life Smooch leads. I wonder where she will take you on her first drive when she gets her driver's license?

Ha ha ha ha! I used to have a black lab that LOVED to "drive." I took him to the laundromat once, and I guess I took too long because he started blowing the horn. After everyone starting dying laughing was when I realized it was MY DOG doing it! Smooch reminds of him sometimes, the way you describe her personality.
ReplyDeleteLove the dog pictures- such a PURPOSE!! I would love to paint this dog!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE working dogs!!
