It's been one heckuva week, hasn't it, Smooch?
We deserve a little rest and relaxation, don't you think?
Now if I could only teach you how to relax...
You don't have to stand guard every minute of every day, you know.
Snapper and I are willing to take our turns.
See us back there?
See us back there?
No, you're too busy watching the swallows to appreciate this view to the west...
and this view to the north.
Someone has to keep an eye on thing while the photographer is distracted!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
Beautiful New Mexico skies.
ReplyDeleteAppreciation from a "born there but moved to Nevada" girl.
Beautiful views! Wish I was on your porch, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteJust GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteLooks like maybe the winds have died down a bit. Hooray!
Obviously, Smooch takes her job very seriously. There is no time for fun when you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Beautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteThose are just STUNNING views!!! You can relax because smooch is on duty eh! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat stunning pictures! Your dog has a very sweet face :-)
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking!
ReplyDeleteWow! So beautiful! I was just thinking yesterday (while I was supposed to be working) how much I love porch weather. POrches are a great place to relax (Try it, Smooch, you'll like it.) Even sweeping a porch relaxes me.
ReplyDeleteNew Mexico skies are the BEST!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it could get any better than those shots of Smooch -- dog fan that I am -- but that last photo of the north sky is a prize for sure. Wow.
ReplyDeleteThe last two photos are gorgeous. Of course Smooch and Snapper are just handsome.
ReplyDeleteYou have had a heck of a week! You definitely deserve some porch time. Where are the margarita's??
ReplyDeleteSpectacular photos! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
Those gorgeous skies almost, but not quite, make up for the rattlesnakes and scorpions. I'm glad Smooch is on the lookout for danger.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking that Smooch needs a margarita.
ReplyDeleteI HEART Smooch ! All he needs is a cape !! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thoose sky shots make me gasp !
Happy Easter to all the gang at 7MSN
Stunning views; are you sure Smooch isn't out there just to watch the sky?
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Stunning photos one and all. My favorite, though, is the first one of Smooch. The colors, the composition, the Smooch-y-ness... Bravo!
ReplyDeletePoor Smooch is wiped out from the whole well incident. A guy just needs his rest. The sky photos are just amazing!
ReplyDeleteSmooch says "It's only work if you don't enjoy it."
ReplyDeleteThat is the way my Wally is ... always in 'alert mode'.
ReplyDeleteGreat closing pictures ... WOW!
We have some swallows back too! But, no bugs...hmmm, I think that's backwards. Still low 30s at night, pouring out, over 27 inches of rain so far in 2011.
ReplyDeleteTotally love your blog.
