Since Lucy wasn't about to share her hay, George moved on over to Hank's tub.
George: Watch as I tilt my head just so, grab the edge...
George: ...and tip it in my direction.
Hank: Oh, no, you don't. Two can play this game.
Hank: I win!
Hank: Go eat your own hay.
Alan: But it's more fun to pester you and we know you'll give in if we stand here long enough.
George: Or I can just tip the tub my way again.
Me: Hi, Lucy. Thanks for coming over to keep me company.
Hank: And I can tip it right back. So there!
Hank: I give up.
I don't blame Lucy for staying in the shadows eh! ;-)

Tub tipping. Ha-ha.
ReplyDeleteAnd loved the shadow shot of Lucy helping document the food fight. Perhaps she was saying "You know, after breakfast the two of us could escape all this food ping pong silliness with a nice quiet girls only ride!".
Poor Hank. He's very indulgent of their hijinks though isn't he?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more of Lucy. So glad they are all together and getting along, more or less. :)

LOL And there's Lucy. You can just hear her tsking!
ReplyDeleteI really like pictures that have your shadow in it.
Maybe you can take shadow shots of your next ride with Lucy...
ReplyDeleteCute post. I am amazed the hay stays in the bucket. Mine just reach in, toss it on the ground, and use the bucket for fun. Lucy must be thinking you two girls should go in the house for breakfast while the boys have their fun. I LOVE herd dynamics.
ReplyDeleteHank is very patient. He must love the boys. Lucy has obviously bonded with you. I love your new banner picture!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just LOVE IT when they want to be with you. Looks like you and Lucy have bonded..what more could a woman ask for, having her equine WANTING to be right there next to you (Oh!, my husband just informed me HE WAS STILL AROUND). Horse, mule, and DONKEY ladies know what I'm talking about.
ReplyDeleteI love Lucy in the shadow!
ReplyDeleteLooks like everything is back to normal at the 7MSN! I vote for "ear cam" shots next time you're riding Lucy.
ReplyDeleteIt's never boring at your house, is it?
ReplyDeleteOMG, those two are like a comedy team. In their defense, everyone does know that hay tastes better in someone else's tub.
ReplyDeleteHank seems to be very tolerant of the burro boys. I love that Lucy has decided that she's much rather be with you than in the middle of all that tomfoolery. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, as long as everyone gets fed, it's all good, right?
ReplyDeleteThat shadow pic of you and Lucy is awesome! She's already a mama's girl, isn't she? Choosing you over the food tub wars, awwww! :-)
I think I'd be out in the yard all day taking photos. I don't know how you get anything done ...
ReplyDeleteLove how the shadow pic gets you and Lucy in on the show.
ReplyDeleteI love how these animals will do their thing paying no attention to the photographer!
ReplyDeleteNot fair tag-teaming Hank now!
ReplyDeleteWow Lucy, ahem, quite a profile, goodness! A mix of donkey and vulture perhaps? No offense.
ReplyDeleteAh, poor Hank!! He's such a nice guy.
ReplyDeleteLove the banner picture, Lucy is such a lady compaired to two naughty little boys... they all bring smiles to me when I check in every day. Thank you for shareing your life.
ReplyDeleteThe new banner is great - Lucy is right in the foreground where she belongs! The boys are always funny...everyone knows the hay is tastier in the other tub....
