Awwwww....makes you want to give her a treat just for being so determined and patient doesn't it? But then, maybe that's the plan - to elicit sympathy from the human and get a treat. Hmmmmm.... Lucy is one smart cookie. Suzanne :)
I can see her now...it WILL open..it WILL open..the question is, did it open????? Lucy, was ALWAYS doing something to put a smile on our faces..THAT'S Lucy. SO glad you see that in her AND all your other family members. That's what makes you SO SPECIAL.
Good Morning Carson! For some reason I haven't been able to leave comments lately - but.... I'm back! So happy for you and Lucy I really surprised at the post about George's aggression towards her. He's just so sweet, I couldn't imagine him doing that! I do understand they've got to work out the herd dynamic's but not George!.....Congrats again!
Or perhaps she is just trying to figure out exactly WHY? someone would install a hole in the door. I do remember...She'll just have to check with the boys...
Lucy is so cute and photogenic! My dog recognizes the sound of me handling the plastic bag shredded cheese comes in.......from a room away. Guess sprinkling cheese on her dog food developed that talent???
Soooo smart. Open door dammit!! hehe I am so happy for both of you as you will get to know each other more and more and it never stops as you well know having critters.
HA ... now that is toooo cute! Lucy is quite the girl!
ReplyDeleteAnd it might have worked...except the server was on the wrong side of the door.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs do this, too. Only they stare at me. And - by golly - it works!
ReplyDeleteThat's okay Lucy. I have seen the same look on my husband standing in front of the oven. It didn't work then either.

ReplyDeleteMy dogs do the same thing if anyone is in the kitchen--stand by that pantry door and have faith that someone will get a dog treat out for them.
ReplyDeleteOpen, open, open. Reminds me of the old Mervyn Dept store ads. LOL Lucy, I hope telepathy works and you got supper served.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she thought it was a Paco Treat Dispenser? (Hint-hint!)
ReplyDeleteLucy is SUCH a sweetie! I am totally enamored of her! LOL
ReplyDeleteShe definitely has a way of getting her point across, doesn't she. Very Gandhi-esque, her method. Kind of like a sit-in.
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet! I love her coloring. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAny new news regarding Lucy and The Boys? Are they getting along any better?
ReplyDeleteI bet they are really jealous of the attention she is getting
This is sooooooooo sweet!! Such a smart girl! Positive thinking does wonders, Lucy - don't give up! :-)
ReplyDeleteI just love her!!!
ReplyDeleteGee, I could say the same for my husband.
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps she is just trying to figure out exactly WHY? someone would install a hole in the door. I do remember...She'll just have to check with the boys...
ReplyDeleteI love Lucy! She is just too adorable!
ReplyDeletePatience wins the race.
ReplyDeleteDid it work? Maybe she is testing to see how trainable you are!
