Eyes on the sky

I'm paying more than a little attention to the sky and the weather these days, waiting for winter to loosen its grip in western Colorado, the 7MSN, and all parts inbetween. Wishing and hoping won't make spring get here any sooner, but watching skies like these helps pass the time.

This sunset is from Saturday.
While the clouds in the northeast were dropping snow that never hit the ground,

there was an even better show going on in the southwest.

  1. Those pictures are simply jaw-dropping! Although I think we have some beautiful sunsets, they don't compare to yours.

Fingers are crossed that your spring comes sooner ... over at this end winter has a pretty good grip on us and it seems like it's just going to go on and on and .............

The snow, that did not reach the ground from the first photo, has arrived here this morning. We have to be patient with spring.

  10. I'm not usually a spring watcher, never anxious for the springtime but because of your new girl and the weather being a factor.....we're keeping our fingers crossed for an early spring... The Olde Bagg

  16. Wow! Love the last pic, my favorite. We've been having beautiful sunsets and sunrises too. Must be all the moisture in the air from the snow.
