ReplyDeleteKinda reminds me of our housecat. She runs like that when she is pretending that we are chasing her. All we gotta do is take a step towards her and she hightails it away into the other room. Silly Kitty.

I'm imagining the thunder of hoof beats as I look at the pictures. It looked to me like he was hearing something because his ears were turned forward when he was looking and then back when he high tailed it. Or does he put his ears back when he runs to lower his wind resistance? He's such a cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteNow you have me wondering about the biology behind raising of the tail when fleeing. Whitetail deer got their name from that very behavior.
