We can't do those kind of bones without constant supervision. They will eat them until they're gone and then be sick. Too bad, because like Smooch, they LOVE them!
She is thoroughly enjoying that! I had to stop giving them to Bossman - he'd always throw up after he ate it. Now he gets "organic" treats that don't bother his sensitive self!
I Love Love LOVE how dogs will stop mid chew and stare at their bone. Almost as if to figure out the best tasting spot. You captured the moment perfectly.
Thanks for the reminder, Smooch - I must pick one up to take to my first grandson - Banjo the Catahoula Leopard Cur! He'd never forgive me if I didn't show up with treats in my pockets! I already have stuff for his human brother, but Banjo came first! Road trip to Savannah starts Thursday.

ReplyDeleteWally LOVES rolled rawhide bones and it's gotten to the point that I order them in bulk!
ReplyDeleteShe's brushing her teeth!
ReplyDelete(I can't give those to the Schnauzer boys...it glues their whiskers together and creates a huge mess.)
Happy chomping, Smooch!
What a happy girl with not a care in the world. :)
