I would love to scratch those long ears. Our mini donkey loves to have his scratch on the inside-then his lips begin to quiver, the eyes goes shut, and he naps as long as you are willing to scratch.
I was thinking exactly what A New England Life said... it looks like George should have a glass pressed up against the side of the barn so he can hear the conversation going on inside between Alan and Hank. :)
Guess what? My mom person & I have created a new blog at www.PetBlogsUnited.com.

What a handsome fellow! I love that dark stripe over his shoulders, maybe it's a racing stripe?
ReplyDeleteAll he needs is a cup pressed up to the side of the building ; )
ReplyDeleteHe's got the best "receivers" in the world with those lovely, large donk ears!

ReplyDeleteLucky George just being able to bask in the sun. It's pouring here, over an inch in the last 9 hours.....ugh.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you caught the boys enjoying a game of 'Hide and Seek' :D
ReplyDeleteAt first I was awed by the amazing blue sky, but then George's magnificent ears hit me in the face - wow!!!

Ah ha ha, great picture! There must be some seriously interesting conversation going on in your barn that your boy is eavesdropping on! :-)
ReplyDeleteHe's hearing some good gossip judging by those attentive ears and the intent look on his face......
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he knows what they are saying too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot.
What a beautiful photograph!
