Peer Pressure. That's how it starts, ya know. "Here Alan, just try a sip. You'll liiike it." Next thing ya know he's hanging out back behind the bushes with the bad crowd, doing who knows what. And look, he's already wearing black.
Who doesn't like a cold one at the end of a hard day. Or a not-so-hard day? Poco and Jaz like Happy Hour, too. Daltrey's palate is not that sophisticated yet. To him, even carrots are weird.
Have you tried him on Guiness? My horse used to love that (he was a puny two-year-old for a Welsh Cob and I was advised by a Gypsy chap who knew horses inside-out that it was a good way to build him up) :).

ReplyDeleteYour girlfriend seems a bit more relaxed in this photo. I'm glad to see she didn't hold the snake incident against you and pack up and leave. :)

ReplyDeleteI love Alan! All of your critters are beautiful and Alan has such an expressive face in these pictures. I want to hug his head.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a true happy hour (even if Alan is a tee totaller).
ReplyDelete:)

I'm not sure how burro years compute but is Alan even of legal age? I'd say your friend is a bad influence! Ha!
ReplyDeleteHope the two of you are enjoying your visit : )

So cute! Alan's clearly looking for the lime!
ReplyDeleteWoot Woot!!! Partaaaay!

Alan looks happy and Denise's smile is quite refreshing after her look in the snake catching post!

ReplyDeleteHis eyes look like he may have sipped a little bit too much. LOL

Is that a Corona? As I write, I'm sipping on a Dos Equis. I love Mexican beer. So refreshing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bad influence. His ears went sideways with just a sniff of the beer! Wish I had a beer in hand and one of the burro brothers to hug :)
ReplyDeleteSo, is George the designated driver this weekend?
ReplyDeleteAlan, just say "no", buddy.
ReplyDeleteNext time try a big dose syringe with some Thirsty Rancherwoman Margarita in it...and he'll be hooked!
ReplyDeleteThat's cute! I hope he enjoyed his cocktail!
