Hank's new favorite pillow

Post Processing: 1. PW's Define and Sharpen action; 2. PW's Sharpen This action on Hank's eye; 3. Convert to black and white using Gradient Map; 4. Change color mode to grayscale; 5. Change color mode to Duotone, with Bl 404 WmGray 401 WmGray Tritone setting; 6. Removed background with erase tool, magic wand and magnetic lasso; 7. Changed color mode to RGB; 8. Cropped; 9. Added 3 px black stroke to outside edge. Geesh. The things I won't do to salvage a photo.

  4. Awww, I love these! So sweet!
I must say I have missed seeing Deets. I am so sad for you about his disappearance. So frustrating not knowing where he is or what happened to him. I am currently missing two of my beloved barn cats. They have been gone a week. They were the ones at their feed stations every single morning. I am bummed out. I miss them!

  9. One of the sweetest photo series you've done. Everyone needs to rest their head against a friend once in a while. And the song "He ain't heavy, he's my brother" should be playing in the background:-)

  17. Great pictures, I always like the black and white. They just seem so classy and understated. Glad to see he found a pillow just the right height to rest his weary head on.

  18. I agree it is one of the best series. I love the color as one of my favorite and will trying to achieve it.
For Hank to rest his head like that is complete trust. Beautiful

  21. well, I don't really have anything to say that hasn't been said.....

I still think that you should start your own greeting card company. This series would be a good one for me to use at this time as my friends (including all y'all in cyber world) have really been good to let me lean on them lately....The content look on Hank's face on the last shot says all that needs to be said about having friends to lean on. (okay...enough....before I cry for real....)
