When Saturday's temperature hit triple digits, Wynonna took matters into her own hands,
tipping over her water bowl to make herself a refreshing puddle.

The rejuvenating and restorative properties of a mud facial are not lost on the porcine process.
She dove in snout first.
She dove in snout first.
She was counting on the mud to smooth her wrinkles and tighten her skin as it dried.
TACT, Deets! TACT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good laugh for first thing Monday morning! The pictures of Wynonna with her facial treatment are the best, especially the 2nd one where she's smiling!!!
ReplyDeleteDeets sure seems relaxed enough and his look in the last picture is priceless, as are your words that go with it!
Very few things can make me laugh out loud before coffee..........this did...........oh, Deets, you have such a way with words !!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou had to be laughing as you wrote this. It is so funny.
ReplyDeleteTo quote from that obnoxious Larry--"I don't care who you are, that's funny!"
Smart girl, bringing the spa to her. She manages to look happy and gorgeous all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHope the temps drop back to normal soon.
This is my 3rd full belly laugh of the day! The look on Deets' face and the mudpack on Wyonna's snout are priceless.
ReplyDeleteFunny, funny, funny....She's knows Deets is just jealous of her beautiful self....So how many times do you have to fill her bowl on a daily basis?
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh thank you! I asked for a picture of Wynonna in her mud hole and this one made me laugh:-) She is a treasure with or without her wrinkles. I'm sure Deets will never appreciate the mud facial but for her, it's pure bliss.
ReplyDeleteA classic for sure. Love it!!! Way to stay cool, Wynona!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! And I love how Deets is totally unaffected by it all.
ReplyDeleteSo priceless. And that Deets is everywhere with the comments.
ReplyDeleteThis is funny and that last picture and comment priceless.
ReplyDeleteThese weather post just made me wonder how the goat is doing in this heat? I have some older animals and it's making them miserable.
OT: How's Willie? Haven't seen her in ages...
ReplyDeleteWynonna, dahlin', you look mahvelous!
ReplyDeleteGawd, I love that girl!
ReplyDelete"Does this facial make me look fat?"
ReplyDeletegramps
That cat sure likes having his picture taken. I do not think I have seen a cat with more PERSONALITY than Deets!
ReplyDelete"Listen, curly tails, what do you know about a country girl's beautiregime?" Wynona sure is a sight! Wonder what she said to you in the second picture?
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with that pig!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious!! Sorry Wynonna it will take a little more than mud to straighten out those wrinkles! Lookin good though while you are tryin!
ReplyDeleteNow Deets...you could be nice enough to suggest what MIGHT work. No, don't go there!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I've tried three different times to leave a comment and it just isn't going through.
ReplyDeleteWynonna, your mud bath is fabulous, don't listen to Deets. You just do what you enjoy best and tell Carson to keep taking your photos for us.
Happy rooting!
What the heck Wynonna! Deets is definitely not amused! Being that he is a cat he is also far superior to such antics.
ReplyDeletePoor Wynonna ...she needs a bigger pool....or maybe a spa assistant to swab her down....
ReplyDeleteWell we think the Porcine Princess is just lovely! Deets mind your manners! Ken and Mary of Fancy Fibers Farm, TX where we too are ticking triple digits!
ReplyDeleteI think she needs more ... mud.
ReplyDelete(LOL June)
"Spa MSN"
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm, Linda, could be a business venture. And Deets could play the role of the snobby girl at the front where you check to make sure you feel completely inadequate. And Wynnona could be the wonderful lady who slathers the mud all over and makes sure things are just right.
What a clever girl! This is what I love about pigs - she's obviously watched you make her mud bath and being naturally smart she's thought 'I can do that!'. Sometimes I think it's best that pigs don't have fingers or walk upright cos we'd be in a heap of trouble! Haha.
