When we left the burros yesterday, Alan was being a jackass and teasing George unmercifully.
They hugged and made up, then returned to the pasture to play with the big stick.

This is a bad idea. Somebody will get hurt,
so you'd better put the stick down, Alan.
I said PUT THE STICK DOWN.
Every time I turn my back, they get into trouble.
I got a good laugh over this ... Hank does rule and he sure set the burros straight! I thought yesterday that Deets might intervene, but seems he's disappeared altogether.
ReplyDeleteGreat story Carson. Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
LOL Thanks Carson. More stories please
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute the way the burro boys want to play. They are a party in a burro suit, for sure!
ReplyDeleteBTW, does Pat in TN ever go to bed? She certainly is up early enough! :)
Got to hand it to you. That looked straight out of a movie set. Sheriff Hank & the Outlaws
ReplyDeleteThat is just the cutest series of pictures ever! George and Alan really do look like they're hugging in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteAha funny.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteHank is way too cool to play with a stick! Do horses "play" with anything?
ReplyDeleteThe playground lady! Remember the playground lady? The one keeping order and generally being a ... well, damper on a party?
ReplyDeleteIt's tough being the enforcer - glad Hank is there to take it on.
"there's room for three on this thing"
ReplyDeleteLOL! I don't know why but that captures the donkey sensibility so perfectly I am still laughing!!
Oh, Hank, the voice of reason! Hmmm, he sounds kinda like my hubby!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, sensual & poetic, I love your blogs!
ReplyDeleteThank you for nice comment on my blog!
Agneta, the swedish one ;)
That was really adorable. However, Hank has to learn to stop being such a party pooper. Burros just want to have fun!
ReplyDeleteHA! I do go to bed, but you must factor in the time difference between where I am vs Carson.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I think that George and Alan should have their own line of children's books. By the way... love the way the commentary and Hank's ears seem to totally agree.
ReplyDeleteI love your picture stories! Thank you for giving me a great big smile - again!!!
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Love it, absolutely love it.
ReplyDelete"It's all fun and games till somebody puts an eye out!"
ReplyDeleteLOL!
So fun. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! Hank doesn't put up with their antics much, does he? Of course I bet their Laurel and Hardy shtick gets old if you have to live with it 24/7. Actually, I really doubt that! Lighten up, Hank!
