Walk softly and carry a big stick

Hey, whatcha got there, bro'?

Great big stick.

Can I see?

Hey! Be careful! You almost put my eye out!

I said be careful! That thing hurts.

You're such a sissy. Is this one more your size?

Hey, don't go away mad! I was just kiddin' .

Will George take the bait?
Will Hank have to step in to restore law and order?
All that and more, in tomorrow's episode of "All My Children."

  1. I have to admit I got a kick out of the series of pictures and your captions, but OUCH!, those pictures of George getting 'beat up' with the stick ... ooooh, I could feel his pain!

I'm wondering if it might just have to be Deets who will step in and straighten things out.

  6. Okay boys, remember it's all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out with a stick. ;) Can't wait for tomorrow... good thing that Hank is standing in the background at least.

  7. Can't wait to see the conclusion....I don't think George is walking away mad - I think he's walking toward Deets who will get things under control!

  9. It's so interesting how 'mouthy' the donkeys are. I don't ever remember seeing horses spend so much time picking things up with their mouths.

  12. I've been looking for money-saving ideas and HEY! I have an idea. I can cancel the morning paper because I can read the George and Alan Comics right here! Your blog is the perfect start to every morning.

  13. This is precisely why I had to give up soaps.

    And NOW look at me!

    I'm addicted. I'll be back tomorrow. :)

  15. Hilarious!!!!
Alan and George should have their own cartoon or at the very least a cartoon strip!

  16. LOL Have you ever tried throwing a stick to see if one or both of them will fetch it? X-D

  17. Beamer loves to play with sticks too; he'll pick them up and shove them through the fence, offering them to the mares. I leave some nice long ones in there for him, it keeps him busy and keeps him from chewing on the walls of his shelter when he's bored. He doesn't have a cone though. Hmmm, I might have to get him one!

  21. Ha, ha...I *love* your "stick" posts! I also love how, despite a momentary bit of eye-poking danger, your boys seem to treat each other gently. We're having a bit ( <-- understatement) of a problem with gentleness (or the lack of it) here currently.
