Hank gets his groove back

Hank's adjustment to being an only horse seems to have turned a corner. The calling out to the burros when they head out on their own or disappear from sight has diminished in direct proportion to the length of fresh green grass in the pasture.



When Hank is grazing, Hank is happy.

    Oh, good to hear that Hank is doing better in that department. Horses grieve, too. He does have quite an animal crew there at the 7MSN ranch to keep him company, though!

    He looks so peaceful in that last photo! The healing properties of the green! We all take comfort in knowing the seasons still roll on.

    And thanks for the recipe for frozen dog treats - will be making them for Kyra Corgi today!

    Hank does indeed look very happy. I love the "Live is Good" sticker - it looks just like Hank, sans shades! You need to get Hank his own so he can be ever so cool!

    I was watching Siete graze the other day and thinking how lucky horses are to have something so simple and plentiful that gives them that much pleasure. I'm glad that Hank is lovin' his grass!
