Hank's adjustment to being an only horse seems to have turned a corner. The calling out to the burros when they head out on their own or disappear from sight has diminished in direct proportion to the length of fresh green grass in the pasture.
When Hank is grazing, Hank is happy.
I'm so happy for Hank, but even happier that I had just swallowed my last bit of coffee before viewing the last picture ... whatta hoot!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, good to hear that Hank is doing better in that department. Horses grieve, too. He does have quite an animal crew there at the 7MSN ranch to keep him company, though!
ReplyDeleteI love the "life is good" image next to his face. Kind of see a resemblance.... ha
ReplyDeleteGood to know Hank is 'back in the saddle' so to speak ; )
ReplyDeleteBig changes a comin' though!
Happy to see that Hank is starting to adjust to life again.
ReplyDeleteYay for Hank! He is such a beautiful boy. It's so good to hear that he's doing better with each passing day.
ReplyDeleteAwww....happy Hank!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so peaceful in that last photo! The healing properties of the green! We all take comfort in knowing the seasons still roll on.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the recipe for frozen dog treats - will be making them for Kyra Corgi today!
Just confirms what I've always known..... Spring is good for the soul! Glad to see Deets is making sure everything's under control.
ReplyDeleteHank does indeed look very happy. I love the "Live is Good" sticker - it looks just like Hank, sans shades! You need to get Hank his own so he can be ever so cool!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear this. It's distressing when our animal companions are suffering in any way.
ReplyDeleteThat's great to hear that Hank is adjusting.
ReplyDeleteGreat news. Such a pretty boy and I see Deets made it into at least one picture too.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh...LIG! Particularly when grass is springing forth.
ReplyDeleteGlad Hank is feeling better - spring does have some magic healing to offer.
ReplyDeleteSo good to read this! Hank sure is a handsome devil...! And his markings are so pretty....!
ReplyDeleteI was watching Siete graze the other day and thinking how lucky horses are to have something so simple and plentiful that gives them that much pleasure. I'm glad that Hank is lovin' his grass!
