Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds

Did you find something good in there, George?

Tumbleweed. Extra crispy. Just how we like 'em.

You're hogging it all. Let me have some.

Watch your eyes now. This sucker is sharp.

I like the stuff in the middle.

Alan, don't you think you've had enough?
Maybe you should find something else to do before you hurt yourself.

  1. So are tumbleweeds a delicacy for the brothers? It does look like they're enjoying it.

I hope Deets has eyes in the back of his head and can see what trouble might be brewing behind him!

  2. I don't know why but I am always surprised to see that cat hanging out with the big boys. Cute pictures!

  3. And of course, there's Deets, putting his 2 cents in!

I was sorry to read you won't be getting another horse. Is there any way you could borrow one just to see how Hank does?

  4. They'll eat anything, won't they? Better watch those eyes!

Deets is always kickin around somewhere in your photos : )

  5. Deeds, haven't seen you in awhile... and I check in every day...am I getting older?
I didn't know donkeys were so affectionate with each other and always as close together as possible. So beautiful!
I am sorry you won't be able to get another horse, but you know you made the best decision possible.

  6. And here when you said "before you hurt yourself," I was *sure* Alan was going to head straight for some chollah to munch on instead.
    Glad he didn't.

Loved the post as always. Have a nice day :)

  7. I can't imagine there's anything remotely nutritional in a tumbleweed. Glad they enjoyed it anyway. :)

  8. I never knew tumbleweeds could be so much fun!

  9. Looks a little dry, how about some refreshing beverages to go along with tumbleweed. The service around there could use an overhaul.

  10. Great pictures. What is it about tumbleweeds? Bernard and Ellsworth think they're a delicacy too.

  11. Cows and pigs love tumbleweeds too. I really think the tumbleweeds are more to play with and eating is an afterthought. Sorry about not being able to get another riding pal but it's best for Hank.

  13. My cat used to go outside with my dogs and "watch over them." Deets seems to be doing the same thing. :)

Have a great weekend! Does the Easter Bunny bring gifts for the gang?

  15. It's amazing to see how close these two are. And eating tumbleweeds - very funny, they really seem to enjoy it too. And we did notice the little Deets-surprise in the end there. Beautiful pictures, by the way, such rich colors in the shadow.

  16. That does look like a tasty snack...if you're a donkey. Pass the salt.

BTW... I notice Deets is keeping a watchful eye on their shenanigans.

  17. Donkeys don't have to go far to find something "to do"...which means interacting with the cat-man.
