Toooo funny, especially Deets in picture #3. It's kind of like, "Eeeeek, there's that dog again!". Smooch has quite an intense look on her face, and Deets just seems to go his own way.
Is it because Deets is always on the other side of the fence that this 'show' goes on because Smooch lives with her house cats, OR is it because Deets isn't hanging around with dogs that the sight of Smooch makes him arch his back and perhaps 'hiss'?
You think they are like the cartoon where they punch a time clock at the end of the day and say, "See you tomorrow Ralph." On the third picture Deets could be the poster cat for a black cat for Halloween.
Somehow, shiny Deets never looses his cool, even when demonstrating his superiority. Smooch on her hand, looks quite interested! Loved the post from last august too, the stare down by the water trough - they do have some sort of relationship, that's for sure. Fun post!
haha! my cat who thinks he owns the neighborhood makes a daily call on our neighbors dog and taunts her at a very safe distance. Looks like Deets is carrying on the cat tradition there in NM!!

Deets: "I wasn't scared, I was just getting ready to stretch. "
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny, the two of them. I guess Deets just isn't ready to act like one of the indoor cats and make up with Smooch.
Hahha love that stretch.

ReplyDeleteThose two would either make for a good book or as you said a cartoon. :)

ReplyDeleteWow! The tension! It's the cold war all over again! Have they ever... met?
ReplyDeleteOMG they crack me up. I enjoyed looking back at the other episodes too.
ReplyDeleteThose two just crack. me. up!!
ReplyDeleteHe hee! Deets is so full of personality. You do know he's a one of a kind, right? I suppose they all are though.
ReplyDeleteSmooch, leave Deets alone! ; )
Reminds me of Itchy & Scratchy on the Simpsons.
ReplyDeleteDeets speaks volumes with that tail...they crack me up with their shenanigans!
ReplyDeleteDeets gets his name on top only because he "assumes" he is in charge. Smooch, on the other hand, is the working stiff...
