It was a rather chilly morning when I hauled out the old to bring in the new.
Wynonna grew quite concerned about where I might be taking her nest.
Hank popped over to supervise.
Then Deets wandered in, trying to figure out what in the heck Wynonna
was planning to do with all that straw.
was planning to do with all that straw.
Curly tails run in the family.
Wynonna pushed the straw around to her preferred degree of fluffiness
and settled in for her afternoon nap.

Wynonna, come out and say hello to all your friends. They've missed you.
that girl has my heart
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute account of THE princess, but I knew by Picture 2 to put my coffee down ... SO glad I did too, as I have laughed and laughed over her antics, especially those last two pictures! That girl is something else!!!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely piggy palace for the porky princess ;-)

I'll be right over with the treats;)
ReplyDeleteLots of smiles here.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know pigs were den-seekers! Does she put the straw into the pigloo, or do you? Have you read "The Good, Good Pig"? It is very special. You would like it.
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute. I love pigs, among others.
ReplyDeleteShe sure looks like she is enjoying her new straw. Wonderful pictures of my favorite girl.
ReplyDeleteHahah those last two pictures are so priceless. Indigo is the same only she has to walk about the new straw to see if there possibly might be some hay in it before emptying her bladder. Goof.
ReplyDeleteAh it's a pigs life - you have it made Wynonna
ReplyDeleteI love the curly tails shot!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww...she's just so darn CUTE!
ReplyDeleteShe's got flair, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteI've got some bananas. Does she like bananas?
That last photo is a treasure.
ReplyDeleteShe is just too darn cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteNetherfieldmom, I put the first layer of straw down in the pigloo, then Wynonna grabs big chunks in her mouth and carries the rest in.
ReplyDeleteBreathe, Wynonna would walk to the end of the earth for a banana - they are her absolute favorite.
Oh dear, now I think I am wanting a pig. I forget about Wynonna because she leads such a quiet life. She looks very happy with her new bedding. It's the simple things....
ReplyDeleteShe makes her own bed? Smart pig.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is one happy pig! Definitely puts a smile on my face to see her so snug in there.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh can she be any cuter!!!! What a gal! :)
ReplyDeletePIGLOO! Oh, that is great, made me laugh. Wy looks very comfy in there.
ReplyDeleteI also had to laugh about all the supervising going on.... never fails at our place, too, whenever we are trying to get something done.
Wynonna's adorable in those last two pics...quite the ham...
ReplyDelete;~)
Heaven on earth! This would be a good, good day for any pig. But of course, not all pigs need a pink house...
ReplyDeleteOh, your crew reminds me so much of mine. As soon as someone starts a project, EVERYONE has to come investigate, supervise or otherwise get in the way. I have to say that I wouldn't mind being a piggy at your place; I just might hibernate all winter long with that kinda service!
ReplyDeleteOH Wy..Wy...are you sure you are not a porcine version of Kirstie Alley? I can't wait to see that "large and in charge" gal in her new A&E show starting on March 21st. What a riot..and I'm sure she could learn a thing or two from Wynonna. Wy is a lady...too!
ReplyDeleteI ♥ Wynonna!
ReplyDeleteThis post cracked me up! And I love her bedroom decorating technique. Looks incredibly cozy.
Great post! I guess Deets could see that Wynonna had everything under control... those last two shots cracked me up!
ReplyDeleteShe is the luckiest porcine princess around. Such funny pictures. Made me laugh. Something I need more of!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are getting out and taking pics of your critters.
Oh my! She does burrow right in there, doesn't she? That's one happy oinker!
ReplyDeleteShe's the most adorable creature ever. I love the last photo :).
ReplyDeleteNot since Miss Piggy has there been such a passel of porcine pulchritude pigletty Diva-ishness.
ReplyDeleteLove her feminine touches. May need to go buy a bale of straw myself!
ReplyDeleteI want to clone your life...and I want your camera!
ReplyDeleteThat pig wouldn't be a little spoiled now would it??
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that is so funny - what an adorable post (and thanks for starting my day with a happy smile :oD
ReplyDeleteThose last two photos give new meaning to the word "snuggle". That's one happy pig, spreading joy around the world.
