I hope Hank is okay, he looks sad. Love all the pics, especially the last one with little Deets laying nearby. Love your blog and your critters. Have a great day.
Now that is family! Isn't it wonderful to watch our animals interact with one another? Hank does look sad. Wait until he meets his new stall mate next month.
The hat band is turning out awesome. It's gonna have some nice long, pretty tassles on it and plenty of hair left over out of that bundle to send home to you. Could have made two hatbands.
What a sweet series of pictures, and even Deets made his presence be known!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet how they all hang out together - and Deets always has to get in on things!
ReplyDeleteI know it's kind of dorky, but there's something sweet about one sleeping and the rest keeping vigil.

ReplyDeleteDeets is such a copycat! He is trying to impersonate a horse...
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
I love how the cat feels perfectly comfortable right out there sleeping among giants.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful pictures! The burrito brothers are on coyote watch, and Deets will take care of the smaller critters. Hank, you are SO safe!
ReplyDeleteLove how Deets took over the job so the burros could have a break! Considerate cat.
ReplyDeleteThat really does looks like a changing of the guard. Love your herd.

ReplyDeleteAwww, that's so very sweet! I love that they are protective of each other :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice of the boys to take care of their friend and look out for him while he rests. They are very sweet.
ReplyDeleteTwo things are obvious to me by reading your blog:
ReplyDelete1. Animals DO feel love.
2. Your animals obvious love each other :)
Is Hank okay?????
ReplyDeleteWell, he has his homies around him (even Deets) ... but is he okay?
They are all fantastic! Poor Hank - I hope he gets a new playmate soon, although the brothers and Deets will look after him.
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Hank looks a little sad. It's as if the donkey's are trying to console him. Even the kitty was hanging out with him. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteHis is a lonely throne.
ReplyDeleteBut it does look like he's welcoming the new friendships.
This is so peaceful, and incredible sweet. And Deets has the right flank covered ... (Feel for Hank's knee, though.)
ReplyDeleteAww sleepy man.

It's as if they're angels on earth looking after Hank.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love those herd dynamics when they're looking out for each other. Nice series of pics.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures speak for themselves. We all miss him.
ReplyDeleteThat's what friends are for...
ReplyDeleteAdorable, truly!
