A formal portrait session goes awry

That's perfect! Now hold it.

George, turn to your right just a little bit...

Gorgeous! Now back at me...

Excellent! Now both of you, look to your right...

Exquisite! That's the money shot.
Alan...Alan, what are you doing?

Focus, Alan, focus! We're not done yet!

Oh, Alan! Must you??

George, back over here. Work with me...

We need more carrots.

  1. These two guys are just SO cute, and did well for a while, but just like children, it only lasts so long!

I love the last picture ... it's like they're looking at you like, "Huh, did we do something wrong?"

  4. So much like human pictures! Out of 20 shots at a portrait studio, you might get one good one with kids.
Alan is an naughty little brother that can only stand so much perfectness and then does his thing. :)

  7. I just think these boys are into candids. The portrait is too stuffy. Wonderfully cute as always.

  10. I don't know what's "awry" about this session... You got four elegant, statuesque shots! What more could you ask for from such sweet goofy guys?!?

  14. Great pictures! My favorite is the third one down where they're looking at you, but they are all wonderful. At least they stayed in the same spot for awhile!

  21. Those boys are quite a pair, aren't they? It's amazing how many shots you have to take sometimes to get the shot. I think that last one is my favorite :o)

  24. This was excellent & so needed today. I just love donkeys, I love my little guy to pieces.
I wanted to tell you I thought of you this weekend as I drove my quarterhorse to the NC State animal hospital where I had to put him down, it's a bitch isn't it.
Did an autopsy and several abnormalities in his gut, haven't gotten all the details yet but we know we made the right decision and did all we could, missing him alot.
