What a great series of pictures! I just want to run to him, give him a hug and tell him to rest his head on my shoulder ... yeah, like that's gonna happen! LOL
Don't you just love it when they do that. Yawning and sleeply eyes are one of my favorite ways to see my horse and when she does with me right next to her. well it just doesn't get any better than that. :)
I can't imagine what would be more wonderful and peaceful than looking out at burros or those gorgeous mountains. But you have both - how fantastic! And then there's Deets, of course, to keep you on your toes.
Oh, don't worry....I don't think you could wake a donkey unless they were planning on getting up anyway. My guy will stay laying down in his stall until breakfast is served, completely served. Then he drags himself to his feet and lumbers over to see what's for breakfast.
