It sure seems like Deets is scootin' around, trying to get away as quickly as possible in those first few pictures. My first thought was, "move on, move on and fast!", but then it seemed like all was ok. Whew!
According to Cesar Millan, pack members follow "calm, assertive energy". There you have it - that's Deets! And he's enjoying the attention, no doubt. Nice to see Hank join in there, too - really, really good to see.
Is this the meaning of "curiosity kills the cat"? Super photos ... love the one where burro's peeking around the tree and the cat is unconcerned! Yikes!
Maybe Deets is getting a little too comfortable in the pen. Time for a little reminder of who's space is who's. (I'm pretty sure there should be a 'whom' in there some where. Correct in you mind as you read please.)
Love it! Always a fan of that Deets. I want a jet black cat someday. Okay, little slow on the uptake here, but just made the connection about Deets's name?? From Lonesome Dove?? Cool!

ReplyDeleteApparently, George has not heard of the futility of trying to herd cats.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think there's some transference going on and Deets firmly believes he is one of "them." Deets is the man...uh huh, uh huh.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos! They are always so entertaining :)
ReplyDeleteMove along little doggie.
ReplyDeleteI love a parade
ReplyDeleteDeets Takes Charge. Love that cat! The second last photo is precious with George peering around the bush.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be King. Deets rules!
ReplyDeleteLove George's shadow against the barn wall in the first pick--makes him appear to be quite the noble steed!
ReplyDeleteDeets is one cool cat!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! Great pictures, as always.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a rousing game of follow the leader!

That is to dang funny! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love your pics, they just tell a story without words some days. Deets is quite a cat.
ReplyDeleteAh, the burdens of leadership.
ReplyDelete(LOL, Leah, BTW)
Leader of the pack? More like George King of the cat herders. LOL

Honestly I don't think Deet's knows he's a cat.
