You all seemed to enjoy a glimpse into Rosebud's busy day, so I thought we'd continue the series and offer up a day in the life of Smooch. I followed her around with my camera yesterday, but showing her going out the door, coming back in the door, then going back out the door...well, it would start to get pretty tedious. So here are just the highlights.
Doing tricks for treats...
Monitoring all activity in the corral...
Napping...
Wrestling with her toy...
Patiently waiting for me to finish working so that we can go for our daily walk...
Our daily walk...
Getting annoyed that I'm interrupting her dinner...
And finally, resting on her bed while I sort through pictures and try to think of something to write for tomorrow's post.
Too cute ... I love the different looks of Smooch, and it was fun to follow her throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, I am exhausted! :-)

Whew! What a rough life (I almost typed ruff. I restrained myself)!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing Smooch has a nice comfy bed to rest on!
I LOVE the corral watching picture. You are fortunate to have such a great head of ranch security.

I always knew Smooch was a busy girl. Glad to know someone else's dog is an "in and out" dog. Nash hit the nail on the head.
It looks a lot like Stumpy's life. It's tuff but somedog's gotta do it.
ReplyDeleteSmooch has a charmed life also! I love the next to the last pic... she looks like she can't believe you'd interrupt her dinner with your camera..
ReplyDeleteEating, sleeping, walking, and ranch security is a good job. I wish I could land something like that.
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
Smooch, sticking out your tongue isn't very attractive! Who am I kidding, on you it's very cute!
ReplyDeleteA 'Keen' lookin' Dog!
ReplyDelete"It's a dog's life!"
ReplyDeleteSmooch with her toy is so cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
Did I told you that I LOVE Smooch?
Wow. She works hard. I think she needs a raise...
ReplyDeleteGreat fun! I loved the photo of her standing up, looking out the window - I just wanted to wrap my arms around her and give her a big hug! She looks so snuggly. And like a great companion!
ReplyDeleteSmooch is your Guardian Angel!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my visit to your wonderful blog...Smooch is beautiful!

I'm exhausted. What a busy pooch!
ReplyDeleteI love your new feature and have a suggestion. Isn't Willie your goat? I'd like to see some air time for him. What kind of shenanigans does he get up to? Where does he live and does he have a friend? What goes on in his goat mind? Ok, maybe I don't REALLY want to know that, but the other stuff would be fun.
For such a smooshy-face girl, Smooch is one big ball of muscle, isn't she!
ReplyDeleteAnd the toy-wrestling pic is so freakin' cute I can hardly stand it! Happy doggy playtime!
Every dog should have such a life!
Snapper's turn? There has got to be something a cat can do that will upstage a dog, right? Like sleep longer, purr louder -- wait that would require a video with sound....hmm?
ReplyDeleteA dog like Smooch knows whats important in life. Take notes.
