The winner of The 7MSN Ranch Mercantile giveaway is commenter number 79 - June, who swilled coffee for breakfast. June, please email your mailing address to me at: the7msn at gmail dot com. Thanks for participating, everyone! I was thoroughly enlightened and entertained by what y'all ate for breakfast. (Seriously, Rhonda, popcorn chicken, banana, donut stick, and hot cocoa?)
He's probably the dustiest cat on the internet too! I love Deets!
ReplyDeleteDeets is most definitely the coolest cat around! He's roaming around, but still checking out his surroundings and at the end when he jumps through his little door ... that's simply the best!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to June on being the winner!
A Star is born. I even read his lips near the end and I swear it was meow. Great movie, Carson. His really owns the place.
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
I love that ending shot!
ReplyDeleteDeets' tail always makes me think of an opossum...when he passes under the fencing I think he might get caught there!
And...
oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!
I won!
I won!
Oh boy oh boy!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Enjoying this site so much. Photography, horses and animals and humor. Some of my favorite things.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that was my breakfast! I was up early to work in the school lunchroom, and I was just grabbing stuff out of the kitchen to eat before I went. :) I loved the video today of Deets, especially that very last "disappearing act" with Lyle coming after him! I also got a kick out of that "whoosh" of green hay that came flying up between the burros as they were eating. LOL
ReplyDeleteThe way Deets carries himself reminds me of my dearly departed BooBoo.
ReplyDeleteHighly entertaining, as always.
Deets is most definitely a cool cat - and SO handsome! I loved how he scooted through that kitty door at the end! Many years ago I read an article that said black cats have a special gene that makes them so sweet and personable..... I've never found that article again and I really don't know if it was a valid claim, but I found black cats to be incredibly wonderful cats!
ReplyDeleteLove the crook in that cat's tail.....and the Pink Panther music........perfect. Can't wipe the grin off my face.
ReplyDeletewhat a life!
ReplyDeleteI hear Hollywood calling already.....Love that last shot of him escaping from the those big horsey teeth!
ReplyDeleteI must say, that it strikes me that you have the friendliest 'barn cat' that I've ever seen. He actually wants to hang out with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat does Lyle have against Deets? He actually went after him. It's not like Deets comes and snacks on Lyle's dinner.
Gotta have a talk with that Lyle about leaving mr.deets alone. Almost got him by the tail there.
ReplyDeleteOh no - I can't see the movie! I'll have to check it out when I get home. Have a good weekend Carson. Congrats June!
ReplyDeleteI love Deets !
ReplyDeleteCongrats, June !

It's hard to film a subject that just wants to follow you around and climb up your leg!
ReplyDeleteKewt!
LOVED the Pink Panther music!! I am still smiling.... I may watch this several times today!! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteLove the movie!! Can I make a request to see more Wynonna? I can't wait to have a pig someday!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute and obviously adores you. Great video and way to start my morning.
ReplyDeleteI love this, Deets is a star. I think he needs a cat friend to play with, another outside cat.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite obvious who owns the place...it's the filthy dirty, high-stepping Mr. Cat of Adventure. Starring Deets, the Coolest Cat of Them All!
ReplyDeleteThis was a nice friday afternoon surprise! No words can really describe this guy, but he's in charge, that's for sure. Love him! And the fact that he's polished and shiny in one shot and dusty all over in the next, tells us that he's a hard working barn cat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the treat - more, more! And have a nice weekend over there!
Boy cats are the best! There is a James Bond-ness to his swagger, methinks.
ReplyDeleteExit, stage right. Deets is definitely a cat with a plan.
ReplyDeleteGlad his reflexes remain sharp enough for him to stay ahead of Lyle (And how is Lyle doing?).
Busy guy, he always looks like he's on a mission. Love the ending through the door. Great music too.
ReplyDeleteDeets has my vote for coolest dude.
What a delightful video! Perfect sound track for Deets - and perfect ending! I chuckled at that one.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Nancy in Iowa
Deets is one cool dude, no doubt! This video makes me want to visit sooo bad!!!
ReplyDeleteI missed the contest! I can't believe it! See, this is what happens when I take a break and don't check in with my favourites every day. Rats! I'll check out your mercantile though. Great idea!
Hugs all 'round.

(Hi Mom & Dad)
P.S. Who's the cutie-patootie modeling the 7MSN hat....?
ReplyDeleteI get the feeling that if Deets wore pants, he'd hitch them up and go "yep, I'm the cat, uh huh!". Such self confidence and I love his cat swagger.
ReplyDeletePerfect music, perfect cat. Love the loopy tail! Long may he live!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that song, it's too perfect for this video footage, and Deets! That final scene cracked me up, he barely escaped! He's one Kool cat, he just walks the walk! ;)
ReplyDeleteI would say Deets really loves him mom! Where ever she goes he's hard on her heels!
ReplyDeleteYup, he's a dusty, dirty cat alright, but dang he's a charmer!
It's official...I'm a Deets fan. What a great, great blog and what an amazing story. Thank you for sharing with all of us!!
ReplyDeleteI love Deets! He is so cool!
ReplyDeletePink Panther, heh? Not. Maybe the Dusty Panther. Good job Deets...keep 'em guessing.
ReplyDeleteOK, I finally got to see the movie. They have you tube blocked at my work so I coulnd't see it Friday, then Sat. when I tried it at home, my 'puter froze but once again persistence has paid off! Deets has totally retained his coolness.
