Alan was the first only student to show up for Elf Training 101 this morning. First I attached the jolly red hat to his halter to let him get used to the pom-pom bouncing near his head. Alan passed that test in less than a minute and told me he was ready for Advanced Placement Elf Training.
Go to the head of the class, Alan!
Mom, that bully over in the corner is making fun of me.

Don't you worry, hon. It's tough being a smart ass. But when you go off to college, just remember – he'll be stuck in some dead-end job working cows or something.
Oh my gosh Carson, the elf training sessions get better and better, and congrats to Alan for coming through it so quickly ... he really is a smart ass! LOL I love the picture of him smiling/snickering ... that simply made my day. Your captions are the best too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a chuckle this gave me. I love it. I've even got my husband checking out your blog with me to see what these characters are up to. PLEASE, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles Carson. You always make my day.
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
LOL! I'm impressed. And I have to say Alan looks dashing in red.
ReplyDeleteOk, Alan might have just stolen my heart a tiny bit! What a cheeky boy! And he looks so devilishly handsome with that hat on sideways. Your folks sure had the right idea for this Christmas fun!
ReplyDeleteOh I ca't wait to see what Deets does! Alan is a very fine elf in training. But I think you need 2 hats- one for each ear!
ReplyDeleteGood Lord - the people I work with wonder what sets me off into hysterical laughter every morning as soon as I bring up my computer....Alan has proven me wrong... I thought George would be the first one to pass Elf training!
ReplyDeleteYay, Alan! What a smart and cute boy he is.
ReplyDeleteYou know what it's like with fashion trends...now EVERYONE will want one!
ReplyDeleteGo Alan! Thanks for the wonderful smile! I really needed that for my day to begin:)

ReplyDeleteLaura, I'll add a downloadable version of that photo to the "for you" tab by the end of the day. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAlan is really into the Christmas spirit with his Santa hat on. Very handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you, Alan!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy! That third picture is priceless.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great "laughing" photo! I'm sure you can sell it to a card company. Thanks for the laugh. I can return to my work now feeling a little cheerier.
ReplyDeleteI see possible pictures for the month of Dec for the 2010 calendar!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea. Keep telling those critters that the hats are ear-warmers and like the book The Mitten by Jan Brett, all your critters will be begging to wear 'em!
ReplyDeleteLike others said the laughing burro pic could be a holiday greeting card. It would sell like hot cakes!
