I really don't want any part of this. Can we fast forward to January, please?
This is asinine. I don't see the point.
The point, you knucklehead, is carrots!
Lots and lots of carrots! Humor her,
wear the hat, then she'll dig into
her pocket and give you some.

Are you happy now?
I'm happy, George, and so is everybody else who's been waiting for this moment. It took you long enough.
All the pictures are great, and I'm so happy that George finally came around, but picture #4 simply cracked me up!!! What a look ... I laughed til my sides hurt! Great way to start a Monday!
ReplyDeleteYes George, I'm happy. I can now go to work with a smile on my face.
ReplyDeletego george go!!!! love the second frmo the bottom oh hysterical!
ReplyDeleteThat second last photo had me in stitches!Priceless! I think you've been told off!
ReplyDeletePoor George! He's just not fit for the country lifestyle. Maybe a nice Armani tie?
ReplyDeleteGeorge - what a good boy! I love pic #4 - he's waiting! I can't wait until you take the shot that's gonna make you famous!
ReplyDeleteThank you darling George for those photo's, made me smile.
ReplyDeleteOk, I don't see the carrot! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, he DID it! What a good, exceptional, amazingly tolerant donkey! lol
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, the power of carrots. :-)
Oh yes, the fourth photo is a kick! Extra carrots all around!
ReplyDeleteThat second to last photo absolutely cracked me up! What a character!
ReplyDeleteAh, George, you're such a boy! And you've just reminded me that this is the day we finally hang up our George and Alan calendar in the little Pecan House. Now it is really a home!
ReplyDeleteAs always, the cutest, funniest and more inventive post. It's all about carrots...for humans too. (Now, where IS my hat?)
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
Ah, yes, number four is THE one, definitely. Good sport, George. Sorry we laughed at you... well, not really.
ReplyDeleteI've never really had experience with donkeys but I do know that my Everett will do anything for an apple. Everett is a horse by the way. Just maybe an apple or two might get a little more attention in the elf school.
ReplyDeleteYour book is absolutely fabulous.
Best always, Sandra
Good boy! So good that...maybe you could join up with the miniature horses at Sandy's place. They are in training to help with sleigh pulling!
ReplyDeleteYou know; since moving to Alaska, I haven't seen one burro. They do grow some spectacular carrots, though!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are great! :)
Tell George thank you.
Carxon,
ReplyDeleteI love the second from the last. How did we know that George would be the "last" Elf. It just figures.
Oh, my, they are so adorable!! I can't wait to see a burro dressed up as a bunny for Easter!
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Oh my gosh, you don't have to be a mind reader to know what he's thinking! What an expressive face. Well, be sure to give him a hug n kiss (and some carrots) and thank him for humoring all of us! I know I couldn't wait for it! What's next.... a family photo with all of you in your hats?!
ReplyDeleteI would say that he looks very reluctant! Love the second to the last pic!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I'm getting ready to do my Christmas post with a hat on my two year old gelding! Come and take a look!
