I went outside with the camera yesterday afternoon, hoping to photograph some of the things for which I am thankful. Deets showed up to help and started clawing his way up my jeans, trying to perch on my shoulder. He can be such a pest sometimes. He kept knocking my arm, ruining every shot I had. I finally gave up, pulled him off my shoulder, and set him down on the handiest spot.
It wasn't an image I had in mind and had nothing to do with Thanksgiving, but who was I to argue?
We all stood there for awhile, wondering who would be the first to move.
George took a few steps, and Deets decided that was enough excitement for one afternoon.
I put the camera away and decided to just think about all the things I am thankful for instead of photographing them. The memory card wouldn't have been big enough anyway.
Aaaah Deets .. wanting to be the center of attention and it sure back-fired on him this time. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteI have many blessings in my life/so much to be thankful for, one of which is having your blog to enjoy every day. Thanks Carson and Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Carson! Maybe Deets would like to ride in the cart and drive the boys? I'm thankful for your friendship and great photos and your fabulous four-legged family. Hope you have fun today!

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Carson. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for your peaceful, critter loving life and for sharing it with me. I love the beautiful views - landscape and critterwise. Thanks, Linda.
ReplyDeleteLook at the ears! They are both quite ok with it, but still ... on guard. But I love love love Deets! - he's everywhere and his self confidence is sky high, just as my childhood cats - also outdoors and free farmcats. Do the indoor gang know what they're missing? And what happened with Snapper's attempt to explore outdoors? (It was Snapper, right?)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your entire family furry critters. I'm so very thankful to number you all among my friends.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful way to start a Thanksgiving Day. Looks like you have much to be thankful for, Linda.
