Deets, you knucklehead!
What did you do that for? You'll never get down by yourself!
Mayday! Mayday! Cat on the roof!
Everybody's going to blame me, but it wasn't my fault!
He jumped up there on his own!
Dinner's going to be late and it's all your fault.
Don't look. Maybe mom won't notice.
Yee gads whatta leap!
ReplyDeleteI hope dinner wasn't late and that Deets got down safely.
I love how every picture of him looks like a shadow. Love you Deets.
ReplyDeleteThis was an awesome series of pictures!! I can just picture the donkey's thoughts! And the cat looks like our girl, Shadow. Thanks for the morning smile!

ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of George with one ear cocked forward to you and one to Deets, with that perfectly curled tail. He looks like a barn ornament up there!
Too cute. George looks like he's really concerned about Deets. Alan, on the other hand.....not so much..
ReplyDeleteWhat a leap and from a round rail. hope he got down for dinner. I love your pics and stories.

I have looked at these lovable animals at least ten times today and forwarded a link to friends and family. You make me smile madam. You are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLiz O.
I love the 2nd image with the metal donkey silhouette, Deets & George in slhouette, as well. How interesting that George would line himself up like that under Deets, as though acting as a spotter prior to the mighty leap onto the roof. That's quite a jump. Whoa!
ReplyDeleteCharacters, all. Love 'em.
So. Did mom notice?
ReplyDelete;)
Wonderful story, should be a picture book! Can't wait to show my daughter...
