They have been together for about three weeks and are getting along famously.
They both seem to enjoy visiting with the horses next door. Bernard is training them to scratch his butt through the fence.
Bernard is quite the precocious little donkey. He insisted on helping Don walk Ellsworth to the barn and took matters into his own

These two are precious. I love one leading the other. It must be so gratifying to have rescued this little guy. I'm sure he can't believe his good fortune.

ReplyDeleteLOLOL I just went through all your burro posts. Your donkeys are too cute!!! And you're right - we are leading parallel lives, right down to the Rubbermaid cart I've had for 14 years and wouldn't give up for anything. Well, maybe a couple more donkeys. ; )
