Meaningful social interaction is rather limited in the middle of nowhere, so when visitors do come to call, the boys take full advantage.
First they turn on the charm...
... then they turn around and ask for a butt scratch.
Hank butts in and gets the whole grooming chain going,
then has the gall to point out to our guest that she is scratching the wrong spot.
At least Lyle minded his manners and behaved himself.
Awww.... I'm so jealous of the donkey hugs! Hope you've enjoyed your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI bet regardless of what any of the boys did your guest was more then pleased to spend time with them ... I know I would be, butt scratches and all!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, the butt scratch, I guess it's one place they can't get in their dust baths, bet they wish they could learn to scoot in a sitting position.
ReplyDeleteMy guy likes that, his chest & rubbing his ears pure turns him into a puddle.
Hey, you've gotta ask for what you want. You go, Hank! Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be there...
ReplyDeleteYour place looks very nice!
Have a lovely week ahead.
You've got to stop the Big Kids from shoving the Little Guys out of the way. Burros need their share of scritches.
ReplyDeleteWell they sure aren't shy! Made me a little itchy just to see the pictures. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI just love your animals! NIce burros and a nice gelding to ride too!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! Had a blast. Thanks, boys...and Linda, too.
ReplyDeleteAnd boy, are there places to scratch...multiple places. My guys almost knock me over trying to point out where the itchy spots are!
