Smooch faithfully accompanies me on these package pick-up trips. She gets just as excited as I do about big brown boxes.
But no trip is so important that we can't pause for a moment to share our news with our neighbors.
We're on the way to the post office! The package is here!

Smooch's excitement turns to caution when she realizes the package is bigger than she is.
I have been awaiting this delivery for 19 days, but really for 16 years...since I moved to New Mexico...where the altitude is high and the coffee is bad. If you missed the post about why this is so, you can catch up here.

The new machine is worth every penny. The coffee comes out the perfect temperature and tastes like ... well, like coffee! Stop on by for a cup if you're ever in the neighborhood.
I was anxiously awaiting the resolution of your coffee crisis. Hey, no price is too steep for good coffee.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that this coffee maker works. I used to wonder why you had to microwave your coffee since my Mr. Coffee makes mine so hot that I can't drink it freshly poured. I believe I'm at sea level, which apparently makes a huge difference.

When you think about the High Altitude Bunn in terms of cups of Starbucks -- the Bunn is very economical, as well as much closer than the nearest Starbucks. Enjoy!

Guess I'm a little behind on the times....high altitude coffee maker? Seriously? Well, I suppose I have some reading to do to catch up here. By the way I absolutely LOVE Smooch's dog tag. Very cute!

ReplyDeleteYeah for great coffee! I use a Capresso coffeemaker which grinds the beans with a burr grinder right before it brews the coffee. YUM!!!!! Also definitely worth the $200. I love Kona coffee beans.

I love the entire story of yoyr bad coffee. There can be nothing worse if you a real coffee drinker. I am so happy you got to the bottom (or is that top) of the problem and ther was a solution. Rejoice. Enjoy a cup. You've waited long enough and earned your flavorful java!!!!
