...I think this one would have asked me to take her home.
This part of the herd must have gotten the memo about the free biscuits and gravy breakfast, because they were waiting at the pens before the round-up even started. All I know is this bald-faced beauty with the white eyelashes about stared a hole in me and I may never eat beef again.
Tomorrow, the cowboys bring in the herd.
The first thing that came to mind was how "Pretty" number 269 is...for a cow I mean. She looks so dainty and lady-like. I hope I don't sound too crazy...maybe it is time to go to bed when cows start looking really good..LOL...Have a great Day!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a bovine Lyle!
ReplyDeleteWould she have come with the bonus calf attachment?
I don't know how you left her there!
She does have a beautiful face and oooh those big eyes, and yes, white eyelashes! 269 would definitely love to live at 7MSN!
ReplyDeleteI eagerly look for a new post from you in my RSS feed. I love seeing your critters and hearing about your life.
ReplyDeleteColoradolady, the first thing that popped into my mind was, "isn't she pretty." She's a lovely lady.
She's beautiful! She even looks feminine with her little legs and beautiful face. I DON'T eat beef anymore, haven't for about a year!~ Hey, I found some cows and I mooed at them and they all ran away! I guess I scared them! It's on my deserthorses blog!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty. I think she would make a nice addition to the 7msn and I'm sure she would fit right in. Go back and get her, you know you want to.
ReplyDeleteI know, doesn't it make you look at a hamburger in a whole different light?
ReplyDelete"White Face" was definitely ready for her close-up! What beautiful pictures. Almost painting like.
ReplyDeleteWhen they look at you like that...it does make you stop and think!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteUh...I think she WAS asking you to take her home. She sure looks like a 7MSN herd member to me...
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet face, with eyelashes "out to here"!
ReplyDeletewith her speckly edged white brisket and belly I imagined she was wearing lacey pantaloons under her red skirt.
ReplyDeleteLong legged thing..... probably drives the bulls wild.
I still eat beef. But I draw the line at Veal. At least the cows get to roam free for awhile. I would love to raise beef cows and own a ranch and do it on horseback.

Yeah, some souls you never forget. They know you before you know them. I agree about the beef. Working on that.
ReplyDeleteYep, almost but not quite make me want to quit eating beef.
