Despite starting off on the wrong foot, Smooch and Maggie learned to live with each other last week. They stayed in their respective spaces, Smooch's toe healed quickly, and we all enjoyed daily drama-free walks.
My guests have left the scene and life is getting back to what passes for normal around here.
