Windowseat weather
When the spring winds are blowing, it's just no fun to be outside. But I've got this windowseat in my bedroom, and sitting there is the next best thing.
I can watch for rabbits with Smooch...
and read a book...
and be surrounded by animals.
Makes me kind of glad the wind is blowing.

ReplyDeleteHi Linda: Such beautiful windows and light overlooking the georgous countryside. It's nice to take some time out just to slow down and enjoy the life of cats. Isn't that what we all need to do from time to time? Hats off and enjoy the weekend.

BTW, I LOVE your floor. The colour wash is gorgeous. It would look good in my country cottage....

I correspond with her a few times a year, I just absolutely love everything she's written, Bad Girl Creek is obviously my fav (with the female farrier) The way she writes about women and relationships, she just nails it. She's top of my list of favorite writers. I want to be just like her. You simply must track her down in NM and do lunch. Seriously. (and invite me too)
Oh I just love you that much more now that I know you read Jo-Ann Mapson. I give you a big hug from over this way :)

OK, my curiosity is peaked now about Jo-Ann Mapson, re-reading and a future blog? I've read most of her books, and thoroughly enjoy them and always recommend them to anyone who asks for reading suggestions. THE WILDER SISTERS I have not read though ... I'm off to Amazon.com!

ReplyDeleteVery windy days are no fun to be working outside... we've done it when we absolutely had to, but we prefer to wait for a quieter day when our fencing or tools don't fly away from us!
