I drove the Ranger up to the barn to unload hay in the feed room, just like I've done a thousand times before. For whatever reason, this time Deets decided to use it as a ladder to leap onto the roof.
After a thorough investigation of the gutters and weather vane, he started to look for a way down.
I was concerned that Deets might jump down on Lyle's back and wake him up...but imagine the fun those pictures would have been!...so to avoid a cat-astrophe, I put a few hay bales back in the Ranger and hoped he would use them to break his fall.
I try to do right by these guys, but this is all I get. Where's the love?

"Cat-astrophe", that was hilarious! You are so talented. I don't know how you manage to catch these moments. I think your animals are in on it. You must be giving them extra treats to set up these shots! ;) Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou just know without your help he couldn't have gotten down so easily. Yet there he lays, too cool for school, like he meant to do it just that way. What a character he is.
