It's just not my nature to ask for help, but since George and Alan's drivers' training had stalled, I put out the call.
Yesterday, my neighbor rode over to help me with their lessons, and it was a HUGE success. Driver's education is definitely a two-person job, with one person up front doling out the rewards and another in back working the gas pedal and brake. I needed to keep my hands on the wheel, so I don't have any pictures to share from the lesson. But when class was dismissed, I did get a few shots of Rosie, my neighbor's horse.
Did I mention my neighbor is 10 years old and loves her horse?
So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat second picture... where they both have their tongues out... at each other... is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got some professional help from Rosie's owner.

Good news, it's always helpful to have a second pair of hands and perspective when working through the kinks of training!
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures of Rosie and her girl. What a sweet tempered horse! Is she a Quarter horse?
I bet Rosie's owner was tickled to help you out ... the look on her face in the last picture is priceless!
ReplyDeleteBliss..........absolute bliss. I remember my "Rosie". Her name was "Flicka" and she was "my friend".
ReplyDeleteI am so glad the driver's ed is working out. Once they catch on to the "forward" cue it will be so much easier.
Oh, those are precious pictures. Your young neighbor and Rosie look like best buddies. Very sweet.

ReplyDelete....And what a cute pair they make!!! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, how sweet is that. I love that she helped you with George & Alan.
ReplyDeleteThey make a lovely couple.
Those pictures are priceless. especially the second one where they are sticking their tongues out at each other! Girls and thier horses, there's no love like it!
ReplyDeleteThose pics are the epitome of girls and horses...it doesn't get any better than that...Amen.
ReplyDeleteIt's so obvious how capable, independent and happy your young neighbor is and such an early in life animal lover. Just thinking that she's had some awesome role models and supporters in her life and now a new one in you too. She won't be a slave to "more work" than "play" like some of us I'll bet. Thanks!
