Horses look so peaceful when they lay down for a siesta. I'm glad to see that Deets isn't the least bit worried about getting stomped on. Beautiful scenery in your pictures.
Oh how I wish I was there. I think I might spook the horses and mules being the rumbustious boy I am . WE're glad u stopped by our blog the other day. We certainly enjoy yours and will be back to visit often.
I don't think I would have thought he was more than a shadow if you hadn't pointed him out there on the edge of the red dirt! ;) Looks like a lovely Sunday there in NM!
We're in a napping mood here too, but I'd rather be out in the sunshine with you guys than here in the cold cold rain. Not complaining, though, it was supposed to be snow! Deets chose good bodyguards.
I love love love it when my horse passes out in the sun splayed on his side. So comfy and safe. And thank goodness your horses have their other equine cousin donkeys to keep watch. (plus that deets. Nobody is getting past deets. I know it.)
