I'm usually not all that awake when I go out to feed at dawn. But some mornings, the New Mexico sky is like a jolt of caffeine that makes me run inside to grab my camera. And so it was on Tuesday, as the storm clouds gathered to deliver some snow.
Looking southwest...
Looking east...
And looking north...
The difference between the photo above and my normal view in that direction is a little startling.
Have I told you lately how much I love New Mexico?

Every single one of those photos is absolutely gorgeous. I love the pinks and purples in the sky and the last one is stunning with the open blue sky and the clay colored earth. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful color of the storm! I hope though no damages were incurred. And I love the last shot, contrast of nature colors!
ReplyDeleteNo trouble here understanding why you love New Mexico! And so do we, through your blog! Lovely skies over at your end today.

ReplyDeleteLove your sunrise photos. I love seeing the sky turn all shades of pink and gold in the morning when I feed. (When I don't have to feed at 5 AM that is).
ReplyDeleteI used to have a donkey named Elizabeth. She was really cute but she hated dogs and I love dogs so I found her a good home where she guards sheep.
