George and Alan's favorite Superbowl commercial
Football is not my favorite sport, but I'll be watching the Superbowl today just to see what my favorite Clydesdales are up to this year. I've read that there will be three different spots featuring these giants.
And maybe there will be one or two other memorable commercials...like this next one, which is another of my all-time favorites.

Oh, they are both so cute! I really like the cat one! Those cowboys getting the cat fur off their jackets was too funny! Tee hee! I have 4 cats myself and...DUH...my white cat somehow ALWAYS manages to sit his BUTT on my black work pants! So, I go to school with white cat hairs all over them and everybody laughs and tries to pull them off! Silly me!
ReplyDeleteActually the commercials are the only reason I am in the room during the football game. I don't watch the game...never been a football fan. I'm only around for the food and commercials. Ha! These two commercials you have up are really great.

I have that cat one in my YouTube playlist of classic commercials!! I hear the economy is taking a bite out of the SuperBowl commercials this year. I still expect (hope for) a few good ones...
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the 'herding cats' ad; the funny part is that the ad was so good, the company it was advertising was completely un-memorable.

ReplyDeleteI am a follower of football, although the Bears make that tough! But I must admit, most years the Clydesdale adverts are the highlight of the superbowl for me too :)

ReplyDeleteI'm not into football or the Super Bowl, even for the commericals ... I'll look at them on the USAToday site tomorrow morning and see who came up with what.
I guess I'll be watching or listening to the Super Bowl, as I seem to be a captive in the house without a remote to my name. Anyway I always love the Clydesdale commercials, this was one of my favorites too.

Me too. Couldn't care less about football, but the commercials make it worth sitting there. They had a show last night about all commercials and you could vote for your favorite---the Budweiser one from last year (dalmation with training the horse that didn't make the cut) won.

I love those commercials. My daughter says that when she goes shopping with the Pony Cousins, it is difficult to keep us rounded up. She refers to it as "herding cats".

When my friends and I had lunch between jackpots yesterday we were talking about the Bud Clyde commercials.

I LOVE those commercials!! I wish they would have kept the hair extensions on the donkey for his walk of fame :)) That would have been so cute.
