A surprising new survey finds that many young children dislike the experience of sitting on the lap of a hairy, stinking old stranger at the mall, who their parents say will be sneaking into their house in the middle of the night sometime soon.
Maybe this is why I've never been particularly fond of the holidays...I've been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder all these years.
ROTFL! Love the pic!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! Try to get over your post traumatic stress and enjoy the holidays anyway. Then again, if anyone comes sneaking in the house, in the middle of the night, and he's not wearing a red suit, you'll have to take measures...
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
Why, look at that! The very first conehead sighting! No wonder you were put off!
ReplyDeletePriceless!!!
ReplyDeleteHow true... I just hate it when I see parents forcing their little kids onto Santa's lap all the while the kid is kicking and screaming. This must be where PTSD originated. Ha!
ReplyDeleteWonderful and I needed that!

I can't blame you for crying ... look at that look on Santa's face!!
ReplyDeleteI just noticed on your margin, "eat birthday cake" ... your birthday??? If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteTaken in that context it does seem a bit sketchy, doesn't it? Especially when I and so many other children are taught not to accept gifts from strangers.
ReplyDeleteSantas and clowns.....whoever came up with dressing up like that to entertain children should be ashamed of all the trauma they've caused!! :) Absolutely LOVE the pic! He OWES you BIG TIME!!
ReplyDeleteSanta looks like he's about to cry, too! lol
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! This is a good one!! Well, all of your posts are good ones, but this one is classic!!! :)
ReplyDeletethat was HYSTERICALLY FUNNY!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant...a great way to start the week.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny! I must admit that is a pretty odd looking Santa :)
