Every day, I collect the boys' toys and stack them next to the feed room. And every day, George and Alan pull them out to play. George reminds me of Goldilocks, trying to decide which cone is just right.
How great to find your blog! I live in Virginia, and most of my posts have to do with gardening there--but I have a second home in Arizona and my brothers and sisters have horses there (and goats and dogs and cats, though no burros that I know of)! I can't wait to explore more of your postings.
Your boys are the best. So busy. I used to hang plastic milk cartons around the corral to be played with, but the cones are so much better and probably sturdier.
Donkeys are seriously into play, that's for sure! George and Alan will soon be gracing our tack and feed room... so we'll get a daily dose out there too. :)
Love your new header pic! You're so creative!! Love these guys too. What a bunch of characters you live with! and may I make a request? More Wynonna!!!

ReplyDeleteIt's important to find the just right orange cone! Cute!!
ReplyDeleteI would never have known that equines were such playbabies!

Oh - they're SO CUTE!!! I especially love the coloring of Alan. Are they both equally good-natured? I can't wait to get my own.
ReplyDeleteI tought of George and Alan today when I got a Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goat buck, and he looks like a mini version of your burro's.
ReplyDeleteThose guys are the greatest ever. How can you not love those faces with their constant "who, me?" expressions.

I also never knew they were such "playbabies", and choosing the right cone just cracked me up! Those two are absolutely awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the added Santa hats/Christmas decorations to your header!!

ReplyDeleteYour boys are just SO DARN CUTE! Now I want a burro!
ReplyDeleteI love how easily amused donkeys can be (well at least at times). I'm sure there is something just a little bit different with each cone!

They're too cute for their own good, those two.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, George is probably wondering why you keep messing with his toys every day so he has to rearrange them again.
