Lol, they are so cute! Looks like you have group naptime too.
Every once in a while, all our horses will lay down at the same time. First time it happened I thought "OMG, there was something in the hay and they're all dead" lol. Nope. Just nappin'
LOVE that white belly! Your donkeys look so clean, poor Jasmine with all the rain has been trying to roll and unfortunately it's all mud and sticks. The older I get the more I appreciate siestas!! :)
Awwww. They're sleepin and sleepin. That's too cute. Lovely pictures. My little horse likes to curl up like a dog and sleep lying down. I love it when he lets me come in his stall and keeps on sleeping. Sweetness!
I think our barb mares would have loved to be part of that group! The more, the merrier they say - and what better way to spend a siesta than an hour of combined sleep and sunbathing?
Aww! A horse friend of mine said to me that when we look to get a horse for our daughter, we should get a donkey instead... these pics are REALLY warming me up to the cute.
I really need to get out and meet some, since I've never gotten to spend time with any. I have a few years to research, which gives me plenty of time!
Makes me want to go take a nap! Ha! Sweet pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully relaxing day...I'm wondering, though, whether you got a chance to lie down and sleep in the sun, too? :-)
ReplyDeleteHow precious!!!
ReplyDeleteI never really thought of burros as being cute before I found your blog. I know better now! :-D
Awwwwwww How can you not smile. I really want to go tickle his belly though.
ReplyDeleteSiesta time in the 7MSN corral?
George & Alan Fan
Everybody should take a siesta in the middle of the day. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteIt's siesta time!!! Oh so cute. My Catnit & Stetson love to sleep in the sun like that too. They seem to sleep more than the horses do that way.
ReplyDeleteI can feel the warm sunshine all the way up here!
LOL - Rafer and Redford use one another as head rests too!
ReplyDeleteSo cute.

ReplyDeleteSo, all's quiet on the western front -- the siesta is an old tradition out here, and I'm glad your critters follow it. Good photos.
ReplyDeleteHow cute!!! They snuggle together just like a couple of dogs...who knew??!!
ReplyDeleteThose burros are about the cutest thing ever!
ReplyDeleteOh my, they are just adorable!! Little snuggle buddies - makes me want to curl up with them and cuddle too. I love them!
