Thank you all for entering the first 7MSN Giveaway and playing along with the where are you/what are you wearing questions.
Detailed analyses of your answers reveals:
1. A disproportionate number of 7MSN readers lives in the Pacific Northwest. I'm guessing they come over here for the vicarious thrills of blue skies and sunshine.
2. The polling data suggests that readership is heavily skewed toward comfort-seekers. Pajama and sweatpants wearers rule the day...though there were a few striking fashion statements...Pony Girl and CindyDianne.
3. And in the category of almost-too-much-information, Karen fessed up that she was "wearing a very yukky t-shirt because we just finished butchering and packaging a deer!"
I took a page from Pioneer Woman's book and decided to let the wise and mysterious Random Integer Generator choose the winner.
Scrolling down to comment number four...who will it be...who will it be...
Woohoo! It's Billie! Mom to Rafer and Redford and Dickens and Keil Bay and the pony and a bunch of others I can't remember right now. Billie, I'll email you about sending in the pictures. Everybody else, this was a whole lot of fun, so look for more giveaways down the road.
Congratulations, Billie. I know you'll enjoy Linda's work. She's a real artist.
ReplyDeleteGood way to do it.

ReplyDeleteI have to say, I am a little bummed.....but I'm just keepin' it real here!

ReplyDeleteCongrats Billie ... guess you're thinking 4 is your lucky number now!
ReplyDeleteYou can't imagine how excited I was to arrive home just now to get the email that we won! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteNow I have to pick 4 out of 13. There are already voices in the background calling out who "has" to be in the final 4.
Thanks, Linda. This is going to be such a treasure for us.
Congratulations Billie! You'll have to post the final piece!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Billie! I can't wait to see what the finished product looks like!!

ReplyDeleteWho knew I could make a fashion statement! ;) I guess I'm putting all my bargain shopping to good use!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Billie, can't wait to see the final art piece!
Of course it will be prominently featured the moment I have my hands on it! :)
ReplyDeleteWe are still sweating over who to pick - one idea was to pick one animal from each subgroup - i.e. one horse, one donkey, one cat, one dog.
Another was to just put all their names in a hat and pick four.
There seems to be no other way to narrow it down - there are four horses, but no one wants to leave the donkeys out. There are not four females. There are more than four males. I tried to figure out a group by "who hangs with who" but that overlaps so much it didn't work either!
What a fun decision though! Thanks for all the congrats - we have been carrying on all day, so excited.
Lucky Billie! Can't wait to see the finished piece- and the next contest.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Billie - I must say I've never been that close to being selected by the RNG. Maybe next time.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Billie! I hope you'll share a photo of her work of art once it's completed and before you ship it off to her.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with my Giveaway. There are still a few days to go. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's entries too, and already have some ideas for other Giveaways down the road. Good luck!

I just had to come back to share here what I found in my email-box when I woke up this a.m.
ReplyDeleteLinda had emailed to say that she couldn't bear for us to have to narrow down our "family" of animals to only four. She has offered (graciously, lovingly, wonderfully) to transform the prize to accommodate all THIRTEEN of our animals.
We would have been utterly thrilled with the original prize, but this is going to be so incredibly special to us. Thank you, Linda. We have got some head shots to do!
Congratulations Billie!! I hope you share the finished picture with us :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Billie! Lucky gal.
ReplyDeleteWhooHooo Billie! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteLinda you're a treasure...can't wait to see the finished piece!
Love the calendar. Brings back memories of earlier years and the whole herd.
