When we left you yesterday, Smooch and I had just encountered the Big Bad Bull and his Broads. They were standing between us and our destination, on our turf. Would we stand and fight? Get ready for a rumble?
Heck no. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid. I straddled the electric fence and hopped over to safety. Come and get me now, big boy! I dare you!
While I was mouthing off, Smooch made eye contact with the big guy, and the next thing I knew, there was a stampede!
One evil glance from Smooch and that pansy-ass, girlie-man bull turned tail and ran, taking his harem with him.We showed them, didn't we, little buddy?
When last seen, the Big Bad Bull and his Broads were headed toward greener pastures.
Wow! For such a cutie pie Smooch sure is tough! :)
ReplyDeleteSmooch is one bad mama. I sure wouldn't want to tangle with a killer like that! It's all about attitude, really.
ReplyDeleteWOW....You two are bad to the bone. LOL
ReplyDeleteGo Smooch! You don't take no bull from any bull.
ReplyDeleteHa ha...you've got pansy-asses in New Mexico, too?! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm wondering is how one straddles an electric fence! :-)
Im glad you have smooch to protect you!
ReplyDeletewhat would they have done if Smooch wasn't there?
I thought they were just being 'curious' when they approached you like that... but that means they are warning you?
wow... scary!
I told you once before that Smooch has something going on with her eyes. She has serious 'presence'. Not even a 1,000 bull will mess with that girl!
ReplyDeleteI would have jumped to the other side of the fence as well...those bulls don't usually call your bluff, they just go for it!!!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Smooch! She's going to watch out for rancher Woman :)
Farmgirl, guess I should have said I straddled the lower strand of the electric fence...it's 24" off the ground and I have a 32" inseam, so as long as I'm careful and duck under the top strand, no problemo. But with Smooch's leash in one hand and my camera in the other, one of these days I will get zapped trying to do this. Better be zapped than run over by a bull, I say.
ReplyDeleteSam I am, if it were just the cows and the babies staring me down, Smooch and I would have taken them on. (Picture me flapping my arms and shouting 'Trespassers! Trespassers! Go back where you came from! Bad cow! Bad cow!) But with the bull in the mix and it being mating season and all, we err on the side of caution
All gangstas are COWards! Get it?!
ReplyDeleteSmooch must have given them the stink eye. Great photos!
