I was minding my own business, checking fence the lazy way – on the Ranger. Silly me drove home through the middle of the pasture, only to encounter the boys.
Hmm...tastes pretty good. Could use more salt.
Lyle, not the camera bag!
Lyle, leave the pail alone.
Lyle, don't even think about it.
Lyle, if you had a hammer, you wouldn't know what to do with it.
See what you've done? Now George has to get in on the act.
George, don't go there...
George, just because Lyle does something doesn't mean you have to...
But, Mom, you let him do it.
Yeah, you let Lyle do it. He gets away with everything.
Mom, can I have a ride back to the barn?
Lyle, just...go...away.
A great documentary! My favorite pic was Lyle and the hammer - that could easily morph into a Far Side cartoon. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHarmony,
Janet
OK, that was funny. Even my husband who is not a "blog" fan was chuckling.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - I was waiting for Lyle to take the hammer and start fixing the Ranger for you. :)
ReplyDeleteFixing the Ranger? Smashing it to smithereens is more like it!
ReplyDeleteHa! They're like my toddlers *grin*.
ReplyDeleteLyle is a real character, it's a good thing you didn't have any hay back there or you would have never gotten away. Have you ever thought of renting tours, like a safari, only instead of elephants and giraffes you've got the boys, all the greenhorns could have a great photo shoot in the wilds of New Mexico.
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteMmmhmmmm...I knew Lyle had a personality! He was just waiting for the right "post" to reveal it in.
ReplyDeleteActually, he probably has before, but I am to new to have seen it (lol)!
Great pictures! Aren't nosy (nosey?) and inquisitive creatures fun??? Even if they would unintentionally bash your vehicle in ;)
Too funny! That Lyle is a stinker. Thanks for the smile today.
ReplyDeleteI love those guys! Great photos to cheer me up after a long, rough day - thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just realized that Lyle has white eyelashes! How stunning!
ReplyDeleteMr. Maybelline with his white mascara...his blaze sort of divides his right eye in half vertically - his eyelashes are white on the blaze portion and brown are the other part. Part of his split personality... I'll try to get a close-up next time he's in the mood to model.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Kids these days, always into something!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's even better - what a distinguishing mark!
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable children you have! I've always wanted a donkey, but they look so cute in pairs I'll have to get two! :) Great pictures!

What a fun post! Maybe Lyle will start shoeing himself?
