Just because she's on vacation doesn't give her the right to sleep late. Guess I'll have to entertain myself with this dead plant til she gets her butt out here to feed us.
Hey, Alan, you don't think she'll notice about the um...you know...
The arena looks so lovely in the morning...the cones all arranged for one of Lyle's favorite patterns, North-South-East-W... Wait. Where's the rest of West?
George and Alan, can't you guys find better things to do?
Mischievous little buggers aren't they? But how cute is that one picture of them with their heads together. You know of course this is all your fault for being on vacation and trying to get in a few extra zzz's!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I found your blog but I love it! And I don't even own a horse (although I do ride once a week and would love to someday own a horse). Thanks for your post on your hard water struggles awhile back. That Lemishine is awesome! And I love the photo on your blog header. It's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Like a couple of toddlers running around!
ReplyDeleteLOL - donkeys keep busy, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog as I was leaving a post at The Pioneer Woman's site. Your catchy little name caught my eye. What does "7MSN" stand for? I love how you have incorporated all of your animals into your life, and do not just use them for pleasure purposes...you know, the whole "don't use something as a means to an end" thing. Anyway...I am envious of your life and your location. New Mexico has sooo much history! I have been trying to get my husband to leave Washington for years now, and I am afraid that the furthest south or east I can get him to go is Idaho. I am just starting up a blog, and I hope that you do not mind my "blog lurking."

I just found your blog through Twinville. It's great! Haha, that's such a funny story! I kind of wish I had a donkey-they seem so fun. I have a quarter horse mare...
ReplyDeleteI'll be checking back! :D

-^^That's who I really am, this is just another account of mine, and I don't want to log out. :)
Jen - glad you found us. Thanks for all your kind words.
ReplyDeleteHorsey Mommie, 7MSN stands for 7 miles south of nowhere...if you're gonna live out here, a sense of humor really helps. Feel free to lurk on over any time. And don't be shy! I love reading what everyone has to say.
Mellimaus, check back whenever you're in the neighborhood. The burros provide an never-ending source for blog entries.
I love all your animals. Very entertaining. Laughing Orca sent me. I too work mostly from home, mainly because I hate to leave my animals alone for so many hours. Someone has to feed the horses their lunch, make sure they're not hurt or colicking, and let the dogs in and out throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteHee Hee! Those burro buddies sure know how to cause trouble, don't they? Double trouble! I bet you can't stay mad at them long, though! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL... George and Alan are tooooo cute. The blogger who said they are just like toddlers is right- I have 2 of those, and that was The Perfect comparison. Love the pics, and "tails" of the goings on there!
